Wow.
I've actually been struck speechless, and those of you who know me IRL know that this is a big deal.
I was sitting on the computer last night, playing around as always, when Jamie got home from work.
"Hey! I think we got a wedding present!" he yells from downstairs.
"What?"
"There's a *huge* Crate & Barrel box on our front step!"
He brings it inside and we put it on the kitchen table... "Are we allowed to open it?" (That's Jamie asking...)
So we do... on top of the tissue paper and everything is a card; I open it up and that's when the speechless part happens. It's from a girl on Two Peas, Sandy! I recognize her name, and when I jump on the computer to email her, I recognize her photo, but I can't say she and I are close... we've chatted a few times, of course, but for her to go and do this is an amazing thing!
So now we have the spectacular cake pedastal we wanted for our wedding cake, and every time I look at it, I'll be reminded of of the kindness of people out there...
